Went through 2 cheaper versions. Both flared apart and became useless because of they were thinner and made of lesser quality steel. This Lisle tool is the real deal. Makes adjusting the timing belt by rotating the water pump a snap.

If you own a small Chevy motor this is a must have for water pump replacement. Check application guide. Works great very durable and fits perfect on the water pump to tension the timing belt.

I'm not really sure why some have a problem with the structural integrity of this tool. I've had no problem whatsoever. You MUST loosen the fasteners of the water pump BEFORE adjusting with this tool.

Did the trick on my aveo water pump. Save yourself the headache and buy this tool, it's cheap enough.

I have to say , this my first time changing a water pump that is used as a tensioner ! And without this tool it would have been a pain in the A$$ ! It worked like it supposed to , and I got the job done. Recommend this tool especially if you have a chevy aveo...

Don't think I would have been able to complete the job without it... Still had to use a 3" extension to get into the water pump but this tool allowed me to get into the tight space. Good price with deliver on Saturday still didn't set me back as much as the "original" tool would have. 2004 Chevy Aveo 1.6 ltr.

This little tool saved me plenty of time and hardship while changing the timing belt kit and water pump on my 2006 chevy aveo. I had to use it at least 5 times so I would say it was worth it.
