The Little Giant 115 Volt, 1/30 HP VCMA-20ULST is ideal for removing condensate from HVAC equipment including air conditioners, de-humidifiers, condensing boilers, and high-efficiency oil or gas-fired furnaces. This unit is comes with a safety switch that can be wired to the appliance to turn the appliance off or can be wired with an audible alarm (not included). 20-ft. of 3/8-inch I.D. vinyl discharge tubing included.

I recently installed a "plumbed-in" icemaker. This Icemaker requires a condensate pump to help remove the melted ice water. I selected a Little Giant pump--and it runs quickly (approx. 5 seconds--to lift all the water collected), makes very little noise and easily lifts the water to a utility sink drain (about 4ft). I am VERY impressed with the quality and the price was reasonable for the expected long life these units normally provide.If you are looking for a condensate pump--this is the best choice you can make. I highly recommend this pump. Small, works well--no maintenance ever needed. Plug it in and forget it.

Great quality, easy to install and hook up. All you have to do is literally plug it in and rum ur discharge tube to either drain or outside. I use mine on indoor ac unit in basement. I do not have a drain in floor and pump it 20 feet outside. This machine has no problem doing so and has never failed me yet. Top pops off for essy cleaning, has great power, is generally quiet and holds a good amount of liquid before pumping which is great cause its not constantly turning on and off. Everything works off internal float. Install it and let it do its job. Good product

Our french drain in the basement floor in our 25+ year old house had trouble keeping up on humid days, flooding our basement several times this year. I order the 80 GPH pump and 50ft of hose and routed it to the laundry room drain. The only criticism I have is that the 20ft of hose with the pump is way inadequate. The pump is very quiet. Installation took minutes.

Mini-split in home was using just gravity feed down 20 feet of pipe in attic to outside. Had been flagged in home inspection but not corrected. My fault. Mini-split started leaking water and so time to correct gravity feed issue by way of this pump. Bought this one as it has an "overflow protection switch". Normally, this switch would be attached between a thermostat and the AC unit. I switch is set to normally closed, meaning that if the water is not about to overflow the tank, it lets the thermostat driven AC work but if water too high, switch opens and AC is shutdown. In my case, no way to use switch that way and so had to move connection inside to make switch normally open and hooked wires to a battery powered "water alarm". Now if pump tanks is ready to spill over, switch closes and alarm sounds. BUT HERE IS KEY POINT OF THIS REVIEW: ONCE INSTALLED, HOWEVER YOU USE OVERFLOW SWITCH, YOU MUST TEST IT. I FOUND THAT THE FLOAT SHAFT WAS SET TOO HIGH AND WATER WOULD SPILL OUT WITHOUT MY ATTACHED ALARM SOUNDING. TEST THE OVERFLOW SWITCH TO MAKE SURE IT WORKS. TEST IT.
