Figure skating is an expensive sport beyond paying for ice time and coaching. I was delighted to find this pair of pant when most online retailers charge $100+, considering my son is 10 and would grow out of it next season. Upon purchasing, the seller contacted me to offer custom tailoring for waist and inseam! The pants arrived much earlier than expected and worked well for his competition. Good quality just like the expensive ones I bought before. Good craftmanship, seams match up, no loose threads, the bottom snap holds up well. Note that this is a straight-leg style for boys and men. I added 2 inches to inseam for the skates but it doesn't seem necessary.

They fit nicely, didn't slide down or bunch. The clip for under the skate boot is secure and not flimsy.
