I used this to replace a broken older version on my hydraulic log splitter (7hp engine). It fit without any issue and mated up cleanly. I've run it a few hours since, and no problems or further adjustment was needed. I appreciate the inclusion of a spare spider, since I suspect the replacement of this one non-metallic part every couple years will extend the lifetime of this simple, but effective little system.
