Bought these for a recent trip with an older well-used soft-sided suitecase that was jam packed and heavier than I liked. I was worried it might fail and rip open in transit, but these luggage straps worked great to hold it together and it arrived in good shape, outbound and back. I put one around the top to bottom and one around the side, and adjusted them snugly so no slack to catch on anything. Cheaper than a new suitcase! And didn't actually have time to get a new piece of luggage before I left, but these came overnight delivery. Saved the day. Also they make your bag easier to spot on the luggage carousel as they are a bright color. Recommend.

These are great for traveling. If you snap one on vertically and one horizontally while making sure they're tight, they will keep your luggage closed and secure. They also makes your suitcases easy to pick out on that luggage carousel in the airport! I chose the brihht orange color for that specific reason. They are very strong and washable. The strap length is adjustable and should fit most small to medium sized luggage.

First off, great bright green color, seem sturdy and the plastic parts are fairly thick, good overall quality.There are pros and seemingly cons to these.I just bought my first piece of hard side luggage and read these help prolong the bags life. I wanted to use these to help hold the bag together and use them as an easy marker, since my luggage is a generic color.I just came back from my first trip where I had a ~2hr direct flights each way. I used 2 straps horizontally, if the bag were upright. This bag has a built-in TSA approved lock that I did NOT use. Upon getting my bag in my destination city, one strap was completely missing. And it was obvious my bag had been opened/searched. While it’s possible, I highly doubt the strap broke. I think it’s more likely that whomever opened it couldn’t get it back on and instead of adjusting it a bit, they just didn’t put it back on.On the return trip I put the strap on the same way, but in the middle and looped it through the handle, again not using the lock. It arrived with the strap on, but it was obvious my bag had been opened again. It was suggested that perhaps my bag got searched both times simply because it had the strap/s.I’m not hiding anything in my luggage, but it is a bit annoying when it’s clear someone has gone through/messed up my carefully packed items.I’m going to keep using them, thee straps themselves work well. just be aware you may have a higher chance of being searched and having your personal items gone through.

These straps allowed us to easily identify our luggage in multiple hotels, and in several domestic Indian airports. It kept our luggage from breaking open, and was incredibly durable through trips on top of SUVs, and with local baggage handlers. We only used one strap per bag, but by inserting it through the handles, it stayed secure and served its purpose. I would encourage anyone on a tour or overseas flights to purchase these. We had also purchased TSA compliant luggage locks, but these were all cut off during the internal domestic Indian flights. However, these straps were never Disturbed.I would buy these again and found that they didn’t slip, the snaps remain secure, and they allowed our luggage to always be brought to the correct room without concerns of someone rummaging through our things. This was so worth the investment.

The color is perfect...no more searching forever for my luggage! The straps are very durable and will also protect the zipper from breaking open on my suitcases.

A belt around your luggage protects it from inadvertent opening and makes it easier to spot on the carousel. I put off replacing my old ones because they were expensive, but these are super-affordable. After a year's worth of travel, I can say that they're every bit as good as the expensive ones.

These work well. I use them to ensure my luggage is snug and also to identify my luggage once it comes through airport baggage carousels.

They did their job and kept my cooler closed during air transport. I worried I might need the second pair as spares, but I didn't - though I was careful to place the buckles where I figured they would be most protected. They seem as good as any other luggage strap I can recall seeing, . The orange color is easy to spot, but shows off all the dirt really well (if you care about such things, I don't). Seems a great value seeing as you get four straps per package.
