These jacks are a good value. The resistance is good - not too tight and not too loose. I'm using these on DIY guitar effects pedals in #D printed enclosures, so I don't want them to require so much force that I put tension on the plastic. These end up being just right. I have a few other brands and they all are a bit too tight for my taste. Signal and contact seems fine. No issues in connections that I can find.

These are a little bit lesser quality than I'd hoped for. But they do work like they should. Don't overheat when soldering the wires. Might need to bend the tab a little to get a more secure fit when you plug a cord into it.

Please make a very weak and poor connection, they are easily bent.

I build custom practice amplifiers as gifts for my Guitarist friends. These have been great for these projects. Holds the 1/4" plug tight with no scratching when you turn the cable.

very flimsy compared to other more expensive brand name alternatives.gets the job done with some work (eg: slight bending of tip contact)center barrel spins on some of these, when tightening the nut. some don't.I wouldn't use these for any instrument application.
