These tiny thimbles work great with my 1/16†steel cable and really simplify my deck lighting project. If you pair these up with a good crimping tool, the job goes ever so smoothly.

It is winter in Southeastern Michigan and temps are currently in the low 20's with snow and ice on the ground so I can't install my patio sunshades, but I am gathering up all the needed tools and installation parts to allow me to install the supporting wire rope for this project.Upon inspection, these are excellent quality wire rope thimbles and will easily support the 1/8" wire rope and other installation components I have acquired to facilitate the installation. The are competitively priced, get my seal of approval and a 5 star rating.

I wish I had gotten these sooner. I did a project with stainless steel cable and now that I have these I am kicking myself. These are great to create consistent loops in stainless cable for hanging up all sorts of things. I have used them for lights. I am planning on using them to hang some vacuum hose as well. The smooth interior of the thimble prevents damage to the cable and makes hooking stuff to cables easier and more attractive.

This is 24 pieces of M6 wire rope thimble. They are made with 304 stainless steel and are made to accommodate 7/32 to 1/4 in diameter wire rope. I got these because I use wire rope for my clothesline in the backyard. I need these to help with the wear and tear that the stress of heavy clothes causes on the bend in The Wire. These are excellent quality and they work well with my 1/4 inch wire rope!

Good thimbles I received to use on 1/8" wire rope. It could be argued that thimbles are overkill for 1/8" wire and that is a fair assessment. I certainly wouldn't be using a thimble on wire thinner than 1/8". Nevertheless, a thimble does protect the wire loop from excessive wear and possibly extend the life of the rope.

Gosh, it's hard to review something this simple that is exactly what it is described to be! I ordered these for use with 1/8 inch 7/7 wire rope to make a DIY pulley exercise set up. Perfect.Short and sweet.

Using these to reinforce loop ends to hang string lights on a wire rope. They seem to be working just fine and have held up through several storms and don't show any signs of rust/corrosion. They are fairly closed at the ends, so I ended up prying the ends apart a bit to ensure positive contact over the entire length of the thimble before the crimp.
