A very sharp and aggressive small step bit. To clean up or make a hold, it's in a class by itself.

I needed to drill 2 holes and this bit couldn’t even do that job.. Very disappointed in the quality and considering it wasn’t a cheap step bit..My $7-8 Harbor Freight step bits actually work and last quite a long time

Cuts fast, and aggressively, so make sure got a hold of your drill and work piece. Because of the 4 flutes, the hole is not truly round. More of a pentagon, but might do better if you can cut slower.Update: Because of the aggressiveness of the cutting. Its now has a chip out of 2 cutting surfaces. And it feels like I have a sprained wrist!

bought to put holes into metal building studs. took quite a while for each and you push so hard to get through, you end up taking it too far in and a bigger hole. If you looking for bit to go through those steel steel studs look at titanium.

I was using Milwaukee 3/8 step bits, then I discovered this product! I think they are actually better than the Milwaukee product, and much easier to get!
