This is a great set of surface mount threaded inserts that are well made and very sturdy. Drilling a flat bottomed counter bore in your wood will allow these inserts to sit flush with the surface of the wood, giving them a much better look. The retaining spikes are solid and have no problem seating into even the hardest stock. The inserts are well milled with no sharp edges or deformities and the threads are well milled with no slop or play in the threads. Just a great set of inserts at a reasonable price.

These are perfectly good 1/4-20 T-nuts. I use them for making jigs for woodworking.Well made, and this is a good deal for the quantity.
