This product was exactly as described and the construction is great. I needed a low profile unit because my car is low and there also wasn't much room before the first bend in the exhaust. I installed it on a civic with a GSR swap and 2.5" exhaust that didn't have a converter. The converter completely remedied the obnoxious smell I was getting before. I was also hoping for a quieter, deeper exhaust note but it only had a very slight effect. Overall, this is a great bargain and does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Great replacement for my rattling and leaking cats on my f150. Replaced all 4 with just one on each bank. No CEL.

The cats work, they take the fuel smell away, but now I get this rotten egg smell, like they are bad catalytic converter. It's not all the time but whenever I merge onto the highway is when I smell it the worst. I've only had them on the truck for 3 months now. Can This Be Bad converter?if this can be fix I'll change my review rating.

Helped clean up some of the smell, have two of them in a 2018 silverado 5.3. Hoping I don't blow them out, but about 6000km and so far all good. They will make it much louder had to install a rez to Tame it.

The product we get is not made of stainless steel but normal mild steel that will rust quickly. This was sold as stainless steel from Magna flow. Real Magna Flow products have a reputable reputation and made their name by selling quality exhaust made of 304 SS. Not this catalytic converter. I suspect a Chinese copy sold as a MagnaFlow. I try to contact MagnaFlow but they don't reply.
