How did you come up with the idea for this product?
Shaun has been riding bikes his whole life. Helmets used to be lame. Over time, they have gotten a bit cooler, but there was work to be done. Prototyping began at the end of 2019 and production began in Ohio at the beginning of 2021. We went with a magnetic attachment because it allows the customer to swap it out and to spin it around to change the look. In addition, it's designed to pop off in the event of a wipe out. Safety.
What makes your product special?
Our MagNeatOhz product line has patent pending technology that allows you to swap out the Flair with your friends or with your mood. We are based in Boulder, CO and manufacture our product in Ohio. Because of this, our support for Helmet Flair is awesome. The product itself is durable and has clean lines due to the hard work to make the highest quality molds for our designs. Check out our Softeez product line for a squishy peel and stick option.
What has been the best part of your experience?
The best part about running Helmet Flair is seeing how our customers express themselves with our products. Our mission is to increase helmet use by making them awesome. Adding joy and self-expression to helmets gets people stoked about a safety device. That feels amazing.

these are sick dude, especially with a black helmet. they stay on really well!! i was a bit worried when i saw that only magnets keep them on, but they were totally fine and stayed on and straight even when going around 95mph.

I got these for my wife, and she's so happy I ordered another pink set & the purple as the ears are removable/interchangable, so will be putting them on her half-helmet too. This seller was awesome, and installation instructions very, very clear you get only one shot at attaching the magnet that holds the ears. I was 1/16" off in my sticking the magnets, but I really have to pull to remove the ears, so am confident they'll be fine going down the road. The product is very well made. No seams, fits over round magnets perfectly, and I expect them to last forever. You may buy these with confidence.

I was a little surprised by how expensive these are at first, but they are nice quality with strong magnets. I get lots of compliments and I never feel like I have to worry about them flying off when I'm riding on a motorcycle. I really wish they came with or the company even sold spare magnets so you could put these on a new helmet without buying an entirely new set. Seems pretty wasteful.

So I put the ears on my hard hat, the adhesive was non existent haha, but I slapped some gorilla glue on the magnet pieces and they stayed perfectly and the magnets were very strong and held under crazy circumstances~ overly I adore them~ just needed some extra hold.

I was worried that driving too fast they'd fly off. No issues at all! Highway riding and they still were there when I took it off.

I bought a pink set of cat ears and my daughter gifted me a set of pink devil horns. Unfortunately I lost a horn on a motorcycle ride. I wrote Helmet Flair and Jessica(The Flair Fairy) was super amazing and helped me get a replacement horn. I love my flair!

My wife thinks I am dumb for buying cat ears for my helmet but I know everyone one else is super jealous! I bought cheaper ones for my kids and nieces and they have suction cups and do not stay on nearly as well. So if you want everyone else to be jealous of you too then definitely get these.
