Handy gadget. If you need a way to get light on a specific spot just to inspect something out of easy reach or if you need to light up AND retrieve something metal, this is very handy. It can pick up, for example, a small to medium bundle of keys. The heavier the meal item is the slower you have to go so it doesn't fall off the magnet. The telescoping function works well, and the product seems to be well-built. No issues and has proven more useful than expected. Uses four button batteries and includes 2 sets/8 batteries. It does arrive in a box as shown.

Bought it as a gift for my dad and he keeps playing with it. He lit up like a kid on Christmas when he opened it. I’d say it’s a great gift idea. The size is perfect for home projects. Tis a very functional tool.
