I had my dad help me build a large storage cabinet, and for some reason, the magnets that came with it would NOT keep the doors closed. These seriously saved the day! The adhesive on the backs is strong, and they have stayed securely in place, and keep the doors from popping open! YAY! I HIGHLY Recommend them!!

We cruise often and used the magnets to hold schedules, menus, notices and invitations to our cabin walls.They are strong and hold paper and cardboard to the metal walls. I could either use the adhesive or place the paper between the included metal disks and the paper.There is abundant supply of the magnets in the order. I am pleased with the quality and strength of the little round magnets. I had purchased a set previously at a retail store and they were not as strong as the Amazon ordered magnets.Great find for my applications. (My refrigerator and other appliances are covered in wood paneling so I cannot use them in my kitchen, but they would be perfect for attaching notes, notices etc to fridge (if it has metal accessible).

WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY !!! I bought a phone holder which turned out to be a waste of money because the magnet wasn’t strong enough to hold onto my car magnet holder so I turned around and said I’ll fix this and I looked on Amazon for magnets to attach the back of this cheap phone holder and Another waste of money! I’m so disappointed in both of these purchases. I don’t even have words for how upset I am. Save your money get the more expensive phone holders. Do not buy these cheap ass magnets because they don’t work. They don’t hold. Maybe they do for a few minutes but then it just slides and slips right off. It’s cheap. It’s not four times stronger than other magnets. it’s a lie do not buy them.

Needing some form of mounting for a thin, small, hanging, aquatic, planter, that I wanted to mount on the inside of my aquarium, I decided to try out these magnets, thinking they would do perfect for holding up this lightweight, acrylic, box. However, I suppose the glass of my aquarium is too thick, and the magnets are just too thin and not powerful enough to hold it up, I ended up using the metal plate on the box itself, and using several neodymium magnet bars on the other side to hold it up. Details below———♡🔹ï¸â€” these come with four pairs to a box, and include the magnet itself, along with a thin metal plate that attracts the magnet.🔹ï¸â€” they come with adhesive on both sides of the pair which makes for easy mounting.🔹ï¸â€” these would probably be perfect for mounting pictures or other lightweight items.âŒâ€” these did NOT work for my particular application, and the magnets cannot even register an attraction through a .5" thick glass wall. i really wante these to work since they're so thin and sleek, but i should have known that they wouldnt be strong enough. they're better off sticking to one another with nothing in between them, in order to get the most benefits of their strength and abilities. this doesnt mean that it's a bad or faulty product, they just did not work for what i intended to use them for.

Ok, I had to rewrite my review due to me not noticing that the side with the blank white covering is actually one of those blue metal plates with adhesive on the other side under the peel away covering. It took me awhile and only noticed this after putting it thru some usage for my review. I'm glad I found this before submitting my review. It fits so tight and seamlessly to the magnet that I thought it was just the back of the magnet until it slid to one side to reveal the telltale blue metal disc. So, I'm happy to say that this is a strong magnet which will stick to metal without the blue disc or if you want to use magnet on non metallic surface then use the blue disc. I believe it's capable of holding what the listing says and if you want to stick the magnet itself more permanently just peel off its covering and do so, the magnet side will be facing outward ready for you to use. I thought I'd be receiving the rectangle shaped magnets but that could've been my mistake, the round ones came in the same box with picture of rectangle shape. I received 6 magnets in total. So just be aware that the blue disc is attached to the magnet then just go sticker happy however you like!

The dimensions on the picture in the Amazon description are not correct, but they are correct in the text. 2.5" by 1.7" is correct.The thicker plates can stick directly to a refrigerator door. The thinner plates of magnetic material need to be doubled or tripled up to stick to the fridge and hold anything like the weight of a paper.The use case for these thinner plates would seem to be to attach, via adhesive, to a smooth non-magnetic surface; such as, glass, plaster or fiberglass. Then a different magnet could be used to attach to that.The thin magnets come with a 3M adhesive strip which is easy to remove from the magnet and place somewhere. I moved them a time or two for better placement, so there is an opportunity to change overall placement of the magnets.

I use these self adhesive magnet plates for holding small tools around my shop. They are very easy to install and hold a lot of weight. I recommend them!
