This thing is one of the coolest tools I own. If you have read my other reviews you know I'm a interior trim carpenter. I have used a handheld bandsaw for years and still never a great straight cut.So I bought this. All I can say is wow. The precision on this saw is incredible and the speed in which it cuts is awesome. I use it to cut closet rods at least twice a week. I have however ran this through 1/2" plate steal with equal results.The brushless motor is quite and the break stops the blade quickly. The table design is such a improvement to the 18v skill saws. I also really like the battery indicator on the body of the tool. This saw does not bur my materials and with the inclosed plastic shroud barely kicks up and debris.Guess the ol band saw is gonna have to stay in retirement for a while.Please if you find my review helpful, let Amazon know by clicking the helpful button below.

I used this saw right away. I cut a piece of steel 2" x 4" with 1/8" walls and it cut through it in one pass like BUTTER. It didn't slow down at all, almost like cutting a piece of wood 2 x 4. Make sure you wear the eye protection provided and something to cover your hair. It slings the metal chips like saw dust and it goes everywhere, especially at the end of the cut. Protect your eyes because you need them for the rest of your life. Too bad you can only cut in a straight line so I could use it for everything. I do recommend this saw for cutting metal.

This is amazing for metal fabrication work.Faster clean accurate cuts. Faster than anything I ever used.I never even cut wood this fast with wood saws.What would take minutes to cut with a Sawzall and destroy theblade takes of few seconds with this.

The portability, time savings and speed and cold cuts vs a cutoff saw are incredible. This saw paid for itself in two days with time I saved over an old cutoff saw.The blade is on the right side of the saw, which makes visibility difficult. I've taken to just clamping a fence to the work piece on the left to guide the saw. I've found it's worth the extra couple seconds to set this up for a clean accurate cut, as I don't need to clean up the cuts with a grinder.

Can't believe I waited so long to pick this up. This tool is life changing. Clean, burr-free cuts through conduit, up to 2in, strut, as well as threaded rod. Nut threads right on all-thread after cut.

Cuts light gage sheet steel like butter. Light weight and easy to guide. Also cuts through 1/4+ bar stock and tubing no problem. Clean cuts with minimal burr. Great tool.
