If you have a Mansfield toilet, you MUST use Mansfield flapper valves or your toilet will leak. Here's why. The mounting brackets used in Mansfield toilets have different sized mounting brackets for those valves. One is significantly larger than the other. All of the other after market replacement flappers (e.g. Korry, etc.) have holes that are the same size. And that means they will always snag on that large post and cause the flapper valve to fail to seat properly. If you have a Mansfield, the name is stamped in a fancy script in ink on the inside of the toilet tank, on the back. The model number is etched into underside of the toilet tank lid (usually a three digit number). So these flapper valves are the only ones I have found with one hole larger than the other, and they work great on Mansfield toilets that use flapper valves. And they are the only ones that do.

I purchased the universal toilet flapper from another brand but it did not fit...so much for being "universal" Ended up ordering this and it fits in easily and stopped the leak. Not sure how long it will last but this is the only flapper that will work for Mansfield toilet with different size tabs for the flapper holder.

EXCELLENT! Very well made. Top quality original. But beware of the insert (baffle). If it is missing the float will not work. Otherwise it is top notch.

I have a Mansfield toilet that was leaking and it needed a new flapper. Thankfully I found this on Amazon and was spared a lot of headaches in that I didn't have to go the route of trying a "universal flapper" design from a big box store that should work with all toilets. For whatever reason those don't seem to work with Mansfield toilets (from what I've read). This part however worked great and was very simple to install. Would definitely recommend if you have a Mansfield toilet.

If you have a Mansfield toilet this is the flapper. Other "universal" brand flappers do not work on Mansfield toilets.

Only flapper to operate and totally seal for my 5 Mansfield- brand toilets. While potentially universal it’s made for various makes and models and it’s performance can be customized.
