The Adjustable 3" Flush Valve and Tank to Bowl Gasket Kit fits specific toilet models made after 1997. Quick and easy to install, the flush valve height easily adjusts from 7" to 11-1/2", with no tools or hack sawing required. The oversized tube and funnel reduce flood risk while the included premium flapper and tank to bowl gasket ensure a tight, leak-proof fit. The kit fits most 3" 2-piece toilet tanks, but does not fit any Kohler toilets. This kit works. I bought a house with a 3" opening Mansfield toilet. It had a slow leak which made the toilet refill a little at random. For conservation and my sanity I had to do a total replacement. The seating for the old flapper valve had too much buildup to be worth rescuing.The Korky kit has great instructions with lots of callouts for different brands. I had to guess a little bit with the adjustable flush but my first try (3/10) was correct.Before: Toilet leaks slowly, refilling randomly. Weak flush. Even with adjustments to the chain the flusj doesn't get much better.After: Like new! Strong flush, quieter refill, no leak.Absolutely recommended.

AMAZON!!! ***TAKE NOTE*** AMAZON, next time please place item in box or bag. The item was shipped in it's light cardboard display box. The box was in poor shape and parts were falling out upon delivery. This was not the driver's fault, it was the warehouse!Now, about the product. We were having issues with our champion 4 toilets leaking. For some reason the Champion flapper is a multi-piece, multi-sealing surface unit and it's very prone to leaks. This Korky kit was designed to address the issues listed above. The directions were very intuitive and easy to follow and all of the hardware was included. I do recommend the following: Korky, please add another larger o-ring for centering the flapper valve, there was still a large amount of slopp to try and center the valve. For the installer, you may want to trace around the old valve (bottom of tank) with a pencil for reference when installing the new smaller valve. Also the directions state to tighten the large valve nut hand tight and then another ¼ turn. The nut is rather large, however a channel lock style oil filter wrench worked perfectly, I'm sure there are other ways as well. After installation was complete, everything worked perfectly and no major adjustments were needed. The flapper had some air ports that are adjustable for timing the flush. With all the ports closed the flapper worked fine. Now that this unit is in and working well, it's time to order more and address some future issues.

I recently decided to replaced my toilets fill valve and flapper after the water bill went up and I noticed the toilet kept refilling. To my surprise, this was very easy to use. It seems to seal off well because i don't here the constant water filling even though I hadn't flushed my toilet. I could not find this 3 inch kit in the store so I had to come to Amazon to get it. Instructions in the packaging were helpful but I am a visual learner so I used a few videos to complete it. I would not hesitate to buy this kit again as the material seems to be good quality, parts fit perfect and shipping was a couple days.

Works great. The standard valve would leave 1/3 or more of the water in the tank after flushing since it sat about 3-4 inches above the bottom of the tank. The Korky dumps all the water as long as you keep the handle depressed momentarily. Need these on all toilets sold.

The instructions were a big help. I ham never replaced a flush valve before so I was at a lost without the instruction sheet and the Amazon video.

I used this kit to replace the original flush valve assembly in an American standard Champion 4. I should have done this two years ago. Night and day difference. Great flush now!

This valve fit on my american standard 4281 tank.However this tank uses a slimmer than normal gasket.You cannot use the gasket that comes with this kit. Either your tank will wobble, or you will overtivhten and crack it.You need to also buy the green gasket made for this tank. It is slimmer. It is a bit too big for this valves plastic nut (lol) but seems to work fine regardless.
