Since Covid and I have been struggling with Oboe Reeds since the Reed makers were not really testing them… It has been difficult… I have ordered many that were absolutely unplayable…However, these reeds in the soft have proven to work very nicely for me.

Great reed! had to shave it down a teeny bit so it would produce more sound, but after that, it worked perfectly!

We have been buying these for a while but the last three we received were completely unplayable. The sides were split because it was not sealed. Will never purchase again

This reed is pretty good, you have to tighten your mouth very firm in order to get sound and for it to be in tune. I found that you need to put more reed in your mouth than most of my other reeds. I wouldn’t recommend this for beginners because of how tight you have to make your mouth though if your practicing having a tighter embouchure then definitely go for it! Also always love good old colorful stringing for the reed.

I bought in bulk for the decent price, but the quality is not as great as I’d hoped. The cork size also can be a problem as they were all the same size. The reeds I was able to use required some adjustments before I was able to use them.
