Very happy with my purchase of this frog spitter. The only complaint is you need to really secure the tube to the bottom of the spitter so it doesn't leak. I used zip ties which seems to work well. Make sure you get a decent pump, the one I have needs to be cleaned often as debris keeps clogging and the water rate is reduced until I clear it. Worth purchasing.

The connection is not barbed or even accessible! the connection is like an apple mouse, on the bottom in a space that cant be plumbed.The connection is not just a copper pipe, but it is ALSO all stuck under the surface of concrete hole its in.Completely unusable. Cant connect with standard tubing, cant place on a surface.two stars just because it does look cool. But Im returning it.

I ordered two of these frogs to spout water into my pool.The construction is very heavy, cement I think. One frog came in pristine new condition. The second frog had a few dings in the paint over the cement surface, which I will have to touch up. The second frog also came with a spout that was partially clogged with some congealed material, either cement or the undercoating, that took some effort to remove. Finally, the base on which the frog sits had scrape marks which clearly indicated the manufacturer or a prior owner had dragged it along a hard surface. It will be a real nuisance to try to find touch up paint that matches the original.I would have exchanged the defective frog for an undamaged one except the installation was part of a larger project that had taken a couple of months to schedule and it was not feasible to delay the entire project to wait for a new frog to arrive.The problems I mention above occurred before the item was shipped because the item was very heavily wrapped in bubble pack and the shipping box was undamaged inside and out, which suggests a handling and/or quality control issue on the part of the manufacturer.
