I have a Persian cat and this works perfectly for his coat . He never has mats , and loves it when I comb out his hair . It is so sturdy I even use this comb while blow drying and styling his wet fur. No issues here . Would buy again you are not you were mouthing off to me and saying that you weren’t going to come

There are two sets of teeth, one spaced wider than the other, but both are wide enough to slip through my cat's long coat. Her entire body looks like it suffers from permanent bed-head. If there weren't an adorable little cat face attached, you would swear somebody left a dry mop on the floor. My little girl really needs her 100 comb-throughs per day!Luckily, this comb is big enough to hold firmly in one hand, leaving the other free to perform magic tricks, like discovering treats behind ears, making shadow figures, and other creative entertainment. I haven't figured out yet if the screaming yowls and hair-raising hisses that ensue are a critique or displeasure for interfering with the Boss's personal schedule. The Boss hates to be held, or held up for that matter, for more than five seconds. I therefore love that this comb allows me to quickly and gently find and untangle starting knots and to prevent mats. I use the widest set of teeth for quickest combing and the dead fur clings to the comb for easy cleaning. This is a well-constructed comb made to last a long time. Be aware that you are buying one comb for the price, not two (the picture is confusing). Also, the section entitled "Product Description" mentions that the plastic handle has a hole for hanging. This comb is all metal and does not have a hole for hanging.

This comb started falling apart on day two. The teeth just keep falling out. Garbage

No rust like my old flea comb from Petco. Teeth bend paint wears rusts easy. I have 2 small dogs Schnauzer & Pom-A-Poo. Pom-A-Poo's fur very soft . Works well wont rust. If you have a small dog careful not to get the larger size of this type. The teeth wont be fine or small enough

We use this comb to help groom our Standard poodle who has an extremely heavy and thick coat. This comb is definitely up to the task - lesser instruments can be easily damaged while combing through her thick hair, but this one works like a champ. Even using the fine teeth in her ears or other fur, the comb is very durable and works great. Highly recommended professional-quality tool!

My cat has a very dense medium length coat with a really generous undercoat, and I've not found a comb or brush that will penetrate it until this one. I like the combination of the coarse and fine ends, and the points of the tines are rounded enough that they don't cause the cat (or dog I suppose!) any discomfort when you are reaching the skin. Unless they're a diva, in which case, they'll complain no matter what. But, this comb gets through all of the layers well, and I'm also able to get right between the few little deep matts and the skin to the use scissors to cut it right off. This allows me to be precise enough, that you can't even see where the hair is missing. Also, the spine of the comb is very comfortable in the hand. The description mentioned a shaped edge, and although I didn't see anything special, I can feel the shaping, and it handles well. It's also well balanced, something I will appreciate if I am doing a longer grooming session. This comb is well worth the price.

As a dog groomer I have tons of greyhound combs. I had one of these that was 10 years old and decided to buy another. I've lost 3 teeth/tines in 2 weeks. Product quality has definitely gone down. Probably fine for at home use but not daily professional use.

it was cheap so I suppose one can't expect a lot, however the teeth have started to fall out already but I am still able to use it.

This little tool is perfect for my girl's unruly coat. My groomer has noticed the difference.

A professional groomer recommended this comb and I’m glad we took her advice. Our cat has never enjoyed being brushed or combed but for some reason he likes this one and even seems to request it sometimes (by jumping up on his bench and staring meaningfully.) It is very effective in removing loose hair, more so than anything else we have ever tried.

Good little comb though I only ever use the fine tooth side.
