I installed about 6 of these in my bathrooms. one for overhead shower and one for hand held Shower head. The control of the water flow in the palm of my hand. I set them at medium (middle). Saves a lots of water, especially in the kids bathroom, as the showers tend to be long and most of the water is waste without touching the body.A solid product with good, compact design

I still can’t believe how great this small fixture is. Allows you to shut the water off at the shower wand instead of constantly readjusting both water faucet knobs in our dated shower. I didn’t think it would work but it really does. It has not leaked a drop of water, either. It makes washing long thick hair so much easier. Just one of the best things I ever discovered on Amazon. I installed it in two minutes at 70, handy but not a plumber at all. Usually anything I try to do myself involving water involves expensive leaks or disaster and this thing just goes right onto your existing hose and I am pretty sure a second grader could install one.

I added this upstream of the shower head. The original ring had little leaks but I replaced with a thicker ring it works great. Easy to switch “On/Offâ€

This control valve is mostly solid brass and fits the threads on my vintage shower head super nicely. I wish it had greater range of flow control - I would like a bit more output on the open end. It does completely cut the water off when desired, but I wish the open end allowed a bit more flow. That said, it does the job it is intended to do very well and seems quite well made.

We needed a cutoff/flow control valve for our kid's shower and this worked perfectly. It was surprisingly solid and heavy. We can set up the shower for my kids, use this to cut off the water, and then it's ready for them when they (eventually) get in the shower. The rest of our fixtures were from Kohler and were the "Vibrant Brushed Modern Brass" and while this wasn't an exact match, it was close enough to not be able to tell unless you're really looking at it.
