This Solimeta Shower Head Water Saver, Shower Head Flow Restrictor, Shower or Garden Water Flow Control Valve 1/2"NPT is designed to be used during shower or gardening to control the amount of water flow.
Connection is 1/2"NPT F x 1/2"NPT M.
Material is brass chrome plated, it is high heat-resistance and pressure-resistance, resist daily rust, corrosion, and tarnishing.
Shut-off and flow control for showers while in use - trickle feature allows you to minimize water consumption saving energy and money.
Easy to install, wrapping teflon tape on the threads, extra teflon for sealing.

I installed this because the shower kept dripping due to a faulty valve. Installing this stopped the leakage.

Overall, this is a good product. My only complaint is that the valve can spin 360 degrees. There is no designated stop positions for on or off. My preference is for a valve that only turns 90 degrees from fully on to fully off. It still functions fine, you just have to feather the valve into position for the amount of flow you want.

Both the original and replacement broke. The pin came out and sprayed water literally everywhere. My 10 year old was in the shower when the replacement we received broke and the piece hit her in the head and there was water all over the ceiling, floor, toilet and walls. A complete freaking mess. It's not a piece that was messed with as I have younger children who can't mess with the pin on this so it wasn't user error.I would only recommend this to someone who wants to flood their bathroom and feel like cleaning it up

This valve works great to control shower flow. It is very sensitive so you can dial in just the right pressure. It is also easy to turn so everyone can use it without frustration. The valve types with the lever are hard to use and do not regulate the flow as well as this one. I would recommend this to save water give you maximum control over the flow.

The product leaks slightly but I can live with it.If I needed a complete shut off, I would not purchase it again…..

The quality of this product looks good. The one I received sealed well on both threaded ends but water leaks around the valve stem which amounts to a steady dropping. This is not a problem for where I have it located in my shower but it could be an issue if it was located in and area that you would want to stay dry such as a sheet rock wall.

The inside parts are plastic. Turn valve leaked from the start. No way to fix or stop it. I returned it.
