At first, I placed the box with switch button in a warmer place (enclosed with direct sun) and noticed that the cable was just lukewarm, not good enough to melt snow and ice. After submitted my negative review, I received feedback from the manufacturer telling me that there is a sensor. I then tried to place that box in a cold place, the cable immediately became warmer. It now works very well.

Works well. The clips are a bit fragile but installation was easy and it’s effective at melting the ice.

Works well for its intended use but I purchased it to put on my lawn to try to keep an area clear of snow for the puppy. No go on the ground. Snow won that battle.

I bought this for the small overhang bike storage I have next to my house. I put it up and waited for the first storm of the winter..turned it on as I was supposed to and it worked AMAZING. I'd recommend.

I purchased these for my rain gutters during the winter time. I live in the mountains and we can get a lot of snow. The quality is amazing for the price. Everything you need is included in the box. The installation is semi-easy to do depending on where the rain gutters are located and the length of them. But the materials are strong and durable and will uphold to any type of weather. Plus they are easy to use and they heat up nicely.
