i mounted this in the gutter to of the front porch to prevent icing after morning sun goes to rear of house. easy to instal in gutter and to roof with supplied clips, keeps water in gutter flowing when below freeaing, very pliable to install and gutter clips hold the wire off the bottom to prevent clogging issues

I installed a few of these back in July in preparation for this winter. Unfortunately, all I can say so far is that I was really impressed with the construction and they do get warm. I won't get a chance to really test this until the temps drop low enough for them to work properly.I will return with an updated review when things start to get icy outside!

This heat tape is a 50 section that has a 6' cord end to plug it in, no wiring required. The heat tape has a durable sheathing covering the heat elements in the tape. I will be using this to help prevent the snow and ice from ripping my gutters off. Overall I'd say this is an excellent product.

It was easy to install near an outlet. I have an asphalt roof, so the clips to hold the cable were easy to slide in place. I plugged it in and tested it for warmth and it worked. This will be great to use to help melt the snow off my roof and also keep the water flowing in my gutters.

Very easy to use and pretty durable. We use this in combination with salt on the ground to keep snow and ice from forming on low traffic walkways. Works even better with a smart outlet that can be turned off remotely.

We had the plumbing freeze in the shop last year and it flooded everything and made a big mess. After repairing it all, I bought some heat tape and have the whole system wrapped with heat tape.There hasn't been a single burst pipe since we put this stuff on.

This heat tape works on gutters, roof edges and can work in submerged situations. The cable has a durable outer layer with a temp sensing tip, the 6 foot lead cord also features a lighted plug. We used this on a floor drain that can freeze in extremely cold weather and it works great.
