These were a last second purchase for my sons Halloween costume. Needed something “neon†for an electric eel. They were so easy to use, good value, could trim them to fit easily and they looked so good. They were a little dim in bright light but boy when the lights went out they were the coolest looking lights! Would buy again for something else if I needed to!

Easy to use but EXTREMELY DIM. Somewhere in-between wishing they were a little bit brighter to wondering if they're ON at all. Even my pic doesn't capture how truly underwhelming these are.Might be good for a kids project but that's iffy even if used in a complete darkness.Flexibility is decent enough. It uses a semi-rigid tubing that kind of keeps it's shape when bent. If you're looking for a "floppy noodle" type of el wire, this isn't it. It appears to be just a colored tube covering a white el wire. That may factor into why they are so dim.Cutting seems easy and straight forward. Although I didn't test this out.Battery pack emits a faint high-pitched squeal. Kind of like when you're taking a hearing test and you have to raise a corresponding hand to which ear the beeping is in. Not noticeable with ambient sound.Before beating yourself up for buying the cheapest on Amazon, note that almost all of these el wires utilizing a AA battery pack are the exact same item. Be thankful you didn't pay a higher price for a lesson learned.

Not bad but not as bright as I thought ! Used them on a kids Halloween project for school. Easy to work with but not as bright as you would expect!

I got a few of these for a Halloween costume. It seemed plenty bright to me. Still works even if you hot glue it. It won't keep its shape without metal wire or tape or such. It does make a high pitched iiiiiiiiiii noise but it's not very loud. my only complaint is that I dropped one and it stopped working. Got my brother to take it apart but he couldn't see anything wrong. However, the company was pretty fast with getting me a replacement one.

Bright and pretty but they buzz which is annoying if the ambient noise is low. If the area is busy you won’t hear it.

Bought for my Halloween costume. Tested it out to make sure it worked before return window closed and it did. Return window closed, and I'm putting my costume together and return window is closed, and it has a faulty wire or something because it won't turn on anymore but the battery light shows it is "working" but the LED won't turn on anymore. Waste of money.
