I got these so that I could take notes for work and school. The pages are thick enough that the ink doesn't go through to the other side. They lines are clear and the spiral holds up perfectly fine. I don't know how well they would hold up to use in a high school, but for my daily use from home taking notes for my masters, and for general use taking notes for tasks I need to follow up on for work, these are great.
