About this item

  • The Meatball Master turns 2.2 lbs of meat into 32 meatballs.
  • Each meatball is approx. 1 oz. in weight and 1.5 inches in diameter.
  • Meatballs can be cooked right away or stored in the freezer for later.
  • The unique design allows portions to be easily removed, even when frozen.
  • The meatballs are all the same size so they will cook evenly.

Make 32 meatballs at once with the meatball master from Shape+Store. Simply fill the compartments with your meat mixture, then pop them out for immediate cooking or store in the freezer for a later meal. The raw meat never touches your hands.

This is my new favorite thing. I like to make meatballs ahead of time, then take them out and bag them. It saves me so much time and effort making the ball, and I even use to use a cookie scoop. I look forward to using it to freeze cookies to have them ready to bake. I thought it was a little costly, but I’m do glad I’ve got it. I’ve had no problem with it.

Dinner was made in record time! I'll be purchasing the Burger Master next.

As other reviewers have mentioned, pressing down the top piece creates trapped air pockets that make it hard to mold the food properly. After two [successful but tedious] attempts at using this tool to portion cookie dough, I used a 1/16” drill bit in my husband’s power drill to poke tiny holes in the center of each well in the top piece, and it works much more easily now! So far I’ve only used it for freezing cookie dough, but it’s worked great each time.

I don’t about others but I find using a meatball spoon, 48 scoops, is tiring up and not to mention painful on my carpal tunnel. This Meatball Master has made my life easier and enjoyable. Each meatball comes out equal size and thus allows them to cook evenly. The product is light weight but durable. I highly recommend the Meatball Master.

It’s nice that it makes a bunch of meatballs at once, but you end up having to roll them after taking them out of the container

I used the Meatball Master to make consistently sized portions of a soft meat mixture (lewerkoekies) and freeze the meatballs. I easily transferred the frozen meatballs to storage bags and returned them to the freezer. Cleaning the Meatball Master with dish soap and water was also easy and after it dried it looked just like it did when I first opened its package.

Everything to like about this product. Just fill, press, and freeze. Making meatballs is so easy now. DH loves them and we both have aging hands that hurt after a short while. Freezes well, dishwasher safe, NOT for use in an oven. Easy pre-prep for any meal/event requiring oodles of homemade meatballs-use your own customized mix and freeze. Move frozen product from trays to vacuum sealed bags and always be ready for a quick meal, unexpected company, or the last-minute potluck. Can be used for giant cookies, too. Get more than one!

If you're like me and HATE making meatballs, well then this is NOT what you are looking for to ease your pain. This THING is so UN-handy as a meatball helper. I sprayed both top & bottom with Pam. I filled to the line indicated. I planned to freeze these easy peasy meatballs, so I started at the center to let the air out, so as not to get freezer burned. This nifty little gadget started oozing meatball mixture out of the sides. Okay, I must have inadvertently overfilled, idiot! So I took some out...several times and still could not get this $#%$@*% thing to close. So, needless to say, I made my meatballs the old fashioned way. Let's not forget the easy clean up!! Unless you own a dishwasher, you need to wash each. independent. hole. with a hot soapy sponge. TOP, BOTTOM and SIDES multiple times to get the Pam & meatball grease clean. I bought this months ago, but never used it until yesterday. So, too late to return it. I don't even want to give it away to someone because they will think that I HATE them!! I often times ignore reviews like this (obviously) and I've paid the price. Do not make the same mistake!!!

This is the best kitchen tool I have bought in a long time. It works perfectly and makes the cutest hexagon shaped meatballs. Sure makes making meatballs less work.

Resulto no ser muy practico porque cuesta distribuir la carne y cerrarlo. Lo quise usar para congelar porciones y tomar algunas segun se necesitaran y fue imposible desmoldarlar

Until now, I believe that it is really a good product. There is also a trick to better use it even more easily. Here is the trick. Proceed as usual, fill in the mold with meat at the edge of the line just like it is indicated, and then place the cover also just as it is indicated, but put the mold in the freezer at first for at least 4 hours. 4 hours are enough to let the meatballs freeze, but they do not really become totally solid. After 4 hours, take the mold out of the freezer, take a flat container that can go in the freezer, and then remove easily all the meatballs from the mold and then place them back in your flat container in the freezer. The mold is not frozen too, it remains flexible enough to remove all the meatballs easily one by one. Voila! There is less danger to tear the mold and the mold can be cleaned up the same day.
