Needed a firm carbon piece for a fishing rod extension didn't have any old rod pieces that met the diameter and strength required so I bought this rod and built a sanding jig with the exact taper to match. Sanded the rod to meet the taper and epoxied it inside the existing butt to give a 10" grip extension to an old rod, worked well.

I opened the package and inside was a single ziplocking bag and one rod... it says there should be 3, I forgot about this until I came to order more... so am I going to get one each time or??? It's gonna be really expensive that way and i could upgrade to titanium for that price. But the rod is excellent quality and perfectly made.

I bought these to use as inserts to strengthen the carbon fiber tubes for my T2T center braces in my Arrma's. Fit so well that I doubt the epoxy glue was even necessary. It even held threads after I drilled and tapped it for the loosening/tightening turnbuckle set screws.
