These are very nice carbon fiber rods. I would buy again. These are solid rods. Be careful when ordering, these are not hollow tubes.

2 of 3 were true. Good enough for me. I used them as 5.56 suppressor alignment rods and they did the job.

These were bought to use in my classroom for a project with gears. We needed to make sure that the rods would not bend in the gear mechanism. These were absolutely perfect. They are strong and durable, and we’re packaged extremely well.

The precision carbon fiber alignment rods for a 5.56 sold elsewhere are 5.5245mm by 17 inches according to the manufacturer and cost at least $50 each. These are made in China and are measured at 5.489 to 5.510 on my calipers and 450 mm or 17.75 inches long. They are very straight with no wobble when rolled on my slate top pool table. So these are less than 0.03 mm smaller than the precision product and you get three of them for only $17. They fit snugly in a 5.56 and work very nicely for a fraction of the cost. As you can see in the picture my YHM Turbo is properly aligned.

This is a very specific application of a short carbon fiber rod, but it's the perfect answer for using my headless electric guitar with traditional guitar hangers throughout my home. Slide the rod between the nut and the string retainers, and you'll find the rod is more than wide enough to cover the gap and plenty strong to hold a guitar (the Ibanez Q52 here is only about 6 lbs). I've been using this for about a month now with zero ill effects and no mishaps.

Used as pushrods on a micro plane, works well and light weight.
