Wow! I rarely leave reviews but I just have to rave about these for a minute! I am allergic to the silverettes and have desperately been looking for some way to protect my nipples. The disposable/reusable pads just soak up any nipple cream that I was putting on, not to mention the fibers get stuck in the dry, sore skin! It was absolutely awful and I've been trying to heal my right nipple over the last TWO weeks. I used these before bed last night and I went about 7 hours without pumping. Just now I took them off and this was the first pain free pump that I've had in weeks! I usually brace myself for the initial pain to my nipple, but there was none! My nipple skin also feels 10x more moist than before I went to bed. Deep cracks look way less deep as well. I am in SHOCK how quickly this helped my nipple! This was by far the best purchase I have made for my breastfeeding journey this time around. I also think they're incredibly easy to use. I don't have leakage problems as long as I wear a bra, so I can't speak to that but the overall performance of the product is perfect in my opinion! I can't wait to latch my baby tomorrow with finally pain free nipples!

When I brought my daughter home from the hospital I already had sore spots on my nipples. They turned to scabs and then when the scabs got soft in the shower, they came off leaving gaping holes in my nipples. I fully understood the words "nipple trauma." I was using silicone nipple covers which helped my sore nipples from sticking to my bra, but I didn't feel like they were getting any air circulation.. The soft shells gave me the air circulation and allowed the Lanolin to stay on (not rub off), which I think helped me heal.The other huge benefit of the soft shells for me was to catch leaking milk. In the beginning of nursing, I had an abundance of milk. The breast I wasn't nursing would leak at least an ounce on let down. I often filled the entire soft shell and it leaked out of the holes at the top. I started putting the silicone covers over the holes so the milk wouldn't leak out during let down and then I could go empty it in the sink. I had previously been stuffing a burp cloth in my bra, but everything still got soaked.As other reviewers stated, when I wasn't nursing, I found the soft shells did put some pressure and caused me to leak slightly. When you bend over to pick up your baby (or something else) the milk leaks out of the holes at the top, which can be frustrating.After breastfeeding was established, and my let down wasn't so strong, I learned to apply pressure to my breast on the side I wasn't nursing during let down (pushing with the palm of my hand slightly in and upward) and this kept that side from leaking and losing that milk.I used the soft shells for several weeks and overall, I felt they were helpful in letting me heal, protecting my nipples from sticking to my bra and allowing Lanolin or other topical cream to stay on longer, the shape of the shells were decent and could be hidden under a baggy shirt, and it was great for catching excess milk.

I ordered these on recommendation from my pediatrician. My nipples were so damaged by my newborn's suckling (he is tongue-tied and lip-tied, and we had the laser surgery, which went great, and fixed his latch!!) that I had open wounds/fissures on both nipples. They hurt so severely all the time, and it was the worst to have ANYthing touch them: breast pads, any type of bra, even the gel wound-healing patches. These SAVED my nipples. You can wear them under anything, in any bra, and it is mostly undetectable, and your nipples are safe in a little circle of breathable air. I wore them for almost 2 weeks while my nipples healed. The only downside, is because of the way they 'frame' your nipples, ad the inevitable pressure from clothing & bras, there is milk collection within the cups, and you can be surprised by leaking. The pads that come in these are very absorbent, but it was a form of stimulation for my letdown, and therefore my nipples expressed A LOT and I would be out in public, and suddenly soaked because the cups were full of my expressed milk. If you are careful to check, a lot, say every 20-30 minutes, and dump them as needed, then they are truly the perfect nipple savers! If you are absent-minded, as I am, and forget to check them for fullness, pack extra bras and t-shirts with you.

These saved my sore nipples! I used these both during pregnancy and after pregnancy to help protect my sore nipples from rubbing on my bra. They truly are amazing! My nipples were sore but felt instantly better when using these. I also feel that they helped by nipples get a break/heal between nursing sessions. Highly recommend them to anyone who has sore nipples!!

I'd like to preface that I bought these when I started nursing my newborn and was getting clogged milk pores from my bras being too tight. For that reason they are very functional and allowed my nipples to breath and this made a huge difference.The only problem I had were that they are so uncomfortable. My boobs are not crazy large (I'm only about a 34B) but these cups only have an opening just big enough that they basically go around the perimeter of my areola. So they are not very comfortable when I am wearing them inside my bra, they actually leave an imprint on that area.

If you are looking for relief from pumping, breastfeeding, or leakage then definitely try these!! I'd definitely recommend wearing a looser shirt with these on, but the ability to just have NOTHING touch that area except air while still being functional personally provided me deep emotional and physical relief. I'd also recommend Frida mom cooling patches if you have dry or cracked skin that isn't responding to coconut oil, lanolin, or petroleum jelly! (Consult your doctor is you have questions and use everything only as they are recommended and make sure to wash yourself between use and feeding if it says to!!)

Me encantaron!!! Las primeras 3 semanas de mi lactancia fueron MUY difÃciles, estuve a nada de renunciar por el dolor. Mi pezón es plano, asà que cuando el bebé se pegaba a mi, lo succionaba y lo sacaba, pero al ponerme el brassiere (aun con los de lactancia de tela suave) me lo volvÃa a sumir y era empezar desde cero. Con esta coraza se solucionó este problema. Además, la leche que escurres, se recolecta, asà que no desperdicias nada. De hecho terminé comprando dos paquetes para tener el reemplazo en lo que lavo un par.

I started to use 4 days after my baby was born. It work pretty well. It hold every drop. It fits perfect too. I super recommend speacially if you have nipples sore. It gives you a good and comfortable sensation.The only Suggestion: make sure you clean always. So you avoid to get any infection on the nipples. :D

Mi pezon no es sumiso pero con las odas absorbentes se hunde y duele un poco. estos los use como un mes, luego no fue necesario porque mi producción de leche se normalizó. Los use para dormir boca arriba pero les metà algodón absorbente para evitar derrames.

Son de buena calidad, me sirvieron al inicio de la lactancia cuando tenÃa grietas y no toleraba ni el roce de la ropa, la usaba en combinación con Bepanthen y me ayudaron mucho a sanar.
