I really like this grill! No bolts to assemble...you just put the heat deflectors in, the catch tray, and attach the hose. It lights easily, and heats quickly. I did add a thermostat to the top (simple oval thermostat you can get for $4.99 on Amazon). However, ALL small grills like this will cook very hot if you turn it up all the way. Doesn't matter the brand. I've owned at least 6 small grills for home and my RV, and they ALL perform this way. Keep the gas turned low. And here's a pro tip: get a Grill Grate for it......makes a HUGE difference in how it cooks, and you can have a "grill" surface or "flat" surface to cook on, plus it buffers the high heat from these little grills. I realize it's an added expense, so not everyone will want to do it. You have to order those from the Grill Grate company, but they are worth their weight in gold. I have a set that I switch around from various grills.

Moving from a house to a condo meant downsizing with everything, including my grill. I bought this because it fits in a cabinet on my deck. It's easy to remove, to use and then store again. It looks great, functions very well and is easy to clean. If there is a negative (from my perspective), it's that this is set up for a 20 gallon LPs tank (not the little green 1 gal tanks). I had to buy a little adapter to make it work on the small tanks and now all is good!

Arrived today, right on time. The box had two holes in it from handling, neither of which were an issue. The BBQ is packed well and arrived without damage in a MegaMaster box just taped up with ordinary clear shipping tape.Assembly is trivial and no leaks were detected. The Piezo spark generators work great and a "match holder" is included attached to the back side of the unit with a chain. There is a very noticeable difference in flame from low to high and this thing heats up much more quickly than my home BBQ. Of course there's far less mass to heat.I ran it at low heat for 1/2 an hour, then turned it up to high for another 1/2 hour. This didn't seem to burn off a whole lot of manufacturing oils and whatnot, but it did cause a normal amount of discoloring, particularly the heat deflectors. The handle stays cool and easily used during this process. The knobs are plastic and the main reason for the 4 stars. I think they should hold up OK so long as I don't forget to push in before turning. I'm sure they'll break if I force them without pushing in, and there are metal replacements for this standard knob. This BBQ is made by Nexgrill and is a slightly different model than the two burner grill sold by my local HomeDepot. The main difference is the top is less sloped so this model has more room inside. The legs are different too, but they don't lock down, which is the other reason for the 4 star review. The construction is good, with small spot welds and rivets throughout. It doesn't quite sit correctly on a flat surface, but that's not an issue. The top has rubber feet and sturdy hinges, a nice touch that give the BBQ a quality feel. Another nice touch is the large painted grease pan that's slippery and should be easy to keep clean.Very happy with this little BBQ, and I'll edit this in the future if there are any issues.Made a burger in record time this evening. This BBQ heats up quickly and cools down quickly. Which means it uses less fuel than my 4 burner, even when I'm only using two of the burners. That this cools quickly and the drip pan is easily accessible means I can clean this thing right after eating. My big old BBQ was a real PITA to keep clean compared to this one.One month later: It's still a nice grill and I still like it. I've discovered that it heats up so quickly that when both burners are on it gets very hot. It does take a few cooking cycles to get used to it. Like other commenters have noted, it does flame up more than my large BBQ and the handle does get warm, so take care and use oven mitts. When the tank valve is closed after cooking, be sure to purge the lines because the BBQ valves will hold gas. Cleaning isn't as easy as removing the drip tray and washing it, but this BBQ is so small that it can be washed down with a hose and the flame diverters are easily removed for cleaning.

I got this to replace my Blackstone I had in my camper because the Blackstone was really a pain to set up every time we cooked. This is very compact, very light and takes up very little room in my camper side box.Used it last night to do a pork loin and I did slightly burn the loin but like everything else, there's a learning curve. My advice, start out on the lowest temp.Setting up was easy, sprayed everything down with Pam and let it season for about a half hour. The stuff that burned on the grates came off surprisingly easy with a steel scrubber. This evening, I made steaks. They came out perfect!Have a meat thermometer on hand because there isn't a built in temp gauge.I'm very glad I bought this and looking over this little grill, for a Chinese made item, it's actually built very well with very good materials! This little thing looks and cooks like it'll last many years to come!I waited almost a year to pull the trigger on this and my only regret is waiting almost a year to pull the trigger! You won't be disappointed if you purchase this amazing little grill!

I bought one of these for my RV and it has been great. I decided to buy another for home use which I can store away when not in use. I got tired of replaces the larger grills that would stay on my back deck in the elements. I tested how hot it would get with a digital thermometer. It went to 600 degrees F and then just read hot. I love this grill and would highly recommend. Yes it is small, but I'm not usually cooking for a lot of people. On a resent camping trip I cooked for five making steak sandwiches and had enough room for the meat and to toast the buns.

I was not sure how well this would work but it is fantastic. Gets and stays very hot even on low. Two burners, two controls. Big enough for 4 or 6 people. Cooks and seers quickly. Uses the normal propane tank but is also portable. Does not have a thermometerBut never used before. Stainless steel. Highly recommend

I generally use a pellet smoker for my barbecue, but nothing beats a grilled steak, which is where this small grill comes in. Heats up quickly and does a great job with the sear.

Nice grill……blah blah. Took it camping and leg is now disconnected. Chincy weld let go and I’m temporarily supporting it with a rock. After fixing this with pop rivets on all four corners, it will be a decent grill.

We bought this bbq for the boat. It's a great value for a 2 burner bbq. It heats up well. Steaks are perfect on it. Definitely recommend!

Works great, easy to clean and very portable. Love that the lid locks down for transporting and has a nice long propane hose for safety.

It is bigger than I expected and I love how it can be attached to the large propane tank and have control of heat….. good for just the two of us
