I installed the meat grinder attachment on my KitchenAid mixer, and it’s incredibly useful. Large cuts of meat from the supermarket can be easily processed into small chunks or ground meat. Due to a low sodium low saturated fat diet I can no longer eat sausages and other foods. Plus you can find ground turkey but not ground chicken in my area. I purchased this attachment so I can make my own ground pork or chicken. It gives me the freedom to reduce sodium and select cuts of meat for fat content. The attachment works great and is easy to clean. it appears to be of good construction. I am happy with it and would recommend it.

As a mother of 3 boys I have always had to try and find ways to save on food. Meat eaters want to eat more as they grow. Ground meat prices have gotten higher and higher sp decided to try and do our own. We hit a local store that sells meat in bulk and ran a 10 lbs pork loin through the grinder and boy was it well worth it.Was easy to put together, easy and quick to use, and easy to take apart and clean.I have a cuisinart mixer and set up was far easier than I expected. Wish I had considered getting one years ago.
