These are light and great emergency recovery gear. These are light enough and it does not take up too much space so it can be stored in a way that it is out of the way. Just having this gives me some peace of mind.The quality of the soft shackle is top notch in my opinion. I have several of these and the construction of this one seems to be the best of my selection. Notice in the picture the tight and perfectly woven strands. This is easy to open to insert the bulb-end into the eyelet. It holds very well. The nature of this design is that the eyelet tightens as you put more pressure on it. Like a noose. It also has a good protective sleeve that ensures many uses before replacement is needed. I may never need to replace mine.The ring is also well made. It is very smooth and will work well with synthetic ropes in the size rang that it states. This size range covers most of the recovery and winch ropes that I’ve seen. Don’t use this with a winch cable. Synthetic rope only.If you do any off reading or find yourself in some winter conditions where a recovery risk exists, this is a cheap insurance.By the way, I am really liking the soft shackles because they do not damage the paint on my tow hooks like the metal shackles would.

This soft shackle works great! It’s super think and sturdy. We’ve already used it to wench a couple of side by sides out. Super quality material and works great for the size.

They will hold a small smooth aluminum pulley to be an anchor point for vehicles with a winch
