I'm replacing a Pyle plastic spider thing and kept breaking on me. This listing fit my Pyle mount for my desk. I included the picture from the old one (the years of glue). This is not plastic, this listing is metal and it seems sturdy and should last a long time. Thank you for making this out of metal. This was easy to install and fit my mic well.

fits my Generic GC1 perfectly. Solid Build and much like the original shock mount. Came with resized adaptor and 2 extra bands.

Four and not five, why? The clamp. Mind you this is a problem with every one of these of same design no matter the seller. Also know this is not a pinch clamp from both sides as you'd expect. It only bites on the screw one one side while cinching up on the other. There are plastic washers inside. They do not bind and lock up well. The fix is simple. Take apart and throw away all the washers. File off all the paint from screw bind points and the faces of the clamp binding area. Rough sand them. Now when you assemble they will bind. I recommend you still keep the screw wing on right (from back side) so when you would swing the top forward the screw threads will tighten naturally. To add, this item includes a better adapter for 3/8-16. Metal with a flat surface base, much nicer. You also get an extra band.

El soporte es completamente de metal, trae dos ligas de elástico de repuesto y el adaptador para rosca de pase fino es de metal también. Excelente soporte que ajusta bien a infinidad de modelos de micrófono.

Remember to measure your microphone. As there are several different sizes.

It's sturdy and made of metal unlike most of them that are made out of plastic. The legs move out at an odd angle and so my mic is crooked no matter how many times I readjust it. I don't know for sure if it's just because of the weight because I don't have another mic I can test the stand with, but to my understanding my mic isn't relatively heavy either. The crookedness is annoying for sure, but it doesn't fall or shake and the shock mount sound absorbing material that wraps around the mic is great because it doesn't pick up when I shake my desk or anything.

I got the focusrite scarlett 1st gen pack years ago. And then mounting ring that came with the mic crapped out. Was looking for hours on end for a replacement. Never had to look so was uncertain of so many options it was confusing. But I took a chance with this one. Well the dimensions seemed proper and sure enough it was a match. Ao if you have this same mic your golden, the cm25 mk1 condenser mic. Right on. Thanks!
