I bought this standard to adjust a used micrometer that I bought without one, It works fine and is accurate. I am a home user and use the Mics for measuring engine parts.

Mitutoyo has been the gold standard for measuring equipment for over 50 years now. In my opinion, they stand right along side of Starrett for worldwide measuring excellence. This Mitutoyo reference bar is my go to 1 inch standard for checking my calipers. I own both Starrett and Mitutoyo equipment, I know these two companies are the best in the world for measuring tools.

With my calipers and micrometer this seems to be in spec, but all I can really review is the packaging which was very good.

Measured across 2 different starrett micrometers and 1 starrett and 1 mitutoyo dial calipers and all read that .0003 shy of 1� Weird
