I love the inside, it has an indentation for my Kalimba on one side and a net pocket on the other side to hold other things! Great price and I received it sooner than expected

This case is perfect for the 17-note Kalimba! On the left side is a pocket to hold the tuning hammer, thumb picks and instructions (if needed). The kalimba fits snugly in the right side but that is a good thing to keep it from sliding around. Would definitely recommend!

This lightweight, easy to use molded kalimba case in is really nice. It comes in basic black - so it goes with everything. It has a wrist strap for carrying, the zipper works well, the wide elastic band keeps the kalimba from shifting, and the mesh pocket on the opposite side holds the cleaning cloth, key stickers, and tuning hammer. I prefer to the extra protection of putting my kalimba in the drawstring back it came with before slipping it under the elastic band (as shown in 3rd photo), but the elastic band on its own works well. There are 2 design modifications that would bring this up to a 5 star review. The first would would be a foam piece with a hammer shaped cut out behind the kalimba so the tuning hammer would stay secure and not move around inside the case. I believe the mesh pocket is a temporary and flimsy solution for storing the tuning hammer. I fear it will tear in time unless I place the hammer in a small padded zip bag or padded eyeglass slip case. The second modification that would really make this case even better is a detachable shoulder strap so that if you're carrying your kalimba some place, you can carry the case like a crossbody bag leaving your hands free for carrying a music book, etc. Not everyone would want that or use it that way, but having a detachable shoulder strap would be a nice upgrade. That said, I would recommend this case to keep your 21 key kalimba safe from dust, knocks, and scratches for a reasonable price.

The only that would make it perfect would be a shoulder strap. Other than that, my 21 key Kalimba fits in it perfectly, there's a separate holding compartment on both sides (inside), so you can safely put your Kalimba on one side while all else (including tuning hammer) on the other side without concern of damage. I do keep the hammer in a velvet bag on the other side just in case.

It's a standard case for Kalimba. It seems to be of very good quality and provides excellent protection for the instrument. I ended up returning my first Kalimba purchase (which came without a case) so I returned the case as well. This case is similar to the one that came with my pricier Kalimba but not as deep, which aids portability if you are concerned about space. It has a dedicated pace for a tunning hammer and a pocket.
