I've used this live center a lot since purchasing it. It has met expectations. I've ised it to friction drive pieces that are too large for my chuck, and for long work pieces like the crankshaft beibg ground in the photo.

Bought for a little 7x14 mini lathe; assumed this would hold me over until I buy a "real" expensive live center later, but it's actually excellent. Seems quiet and true though have not measured TIR.

I especially like that the morse taper and bearing housing are one. I would recommend this live center to anyone who uses a lathe.
