Purchased this carb for my Yamaha ATV that needed help. I added a fuel filter in front of the carb to keep debris from fouling up jets and floats. Took me about an hour to install it (first time ATV owner) and the Yamaha is running great. Starts up quickly, idles perfect, smooth acceleration and it doesn’t leak gas out the overflow!! Happy camper!!

Got the carb for a 2007 250 Yamaha Big Bear. Carb looks exactly the same but it is Jetted for the larger engines... Installed quite easy and it started great but was flooding out the engine with the oversized jets that came with it... I read one of the reviewers that said his carb kit came with different jets, but mine did not... It was a very easy fix, because I just pulled off the float pan by removing the bottom 4 screws on both my old carb that came with my quad runner and the new carb and I just pulled out the 3 jets from my new carb and swapped them with my old 3 jets (that were smaller and already jetted for my engine and for our altitude)... it is very easy and just make sure that your old jets are not plugged and it will run great for you.... There were many people that reviewed this carb and did not understand that the 3 jets inside the float bowl need to have the same side as your old one and can be swapped and it will run perfect after that. My Big Bear ran way good after I spent maybe half an hour to pull the carb back off and swap and reinstall it...My kit also came with a great see through fuel filter that I just cut the fuel line and installed and it great.Note: The choke on the new carb came with a new plunger sitting inside its housing, with the choke cable plastic housing screwed into the carb... You will need to unscrew the cable housing to see the plunger inside the carb... the plunger looks like it is screwed into the carb because it has a slot across it that look like a regular screw driver would fit... just use a regular screw driver to kind of pull it out or turn it on its side to drop the plunger out (another reviewer did not know it was the new plunger and just thought it was a different choke and ran the engine without the choke, when it was and easy fix ....I hope this review helps you guys and god bless!!

Carburator seems fine so far about the same as the previous one i bought. The only issue i have is the fuel filter that came with it broke within the seconds of putting the fuel line over it. Thankfully the engine wasnt hot and i was in my shop i slipped the hose onto the barb as soon as i released my grip from the filter and hose it snapped off the barb. If this were to happen while riding not only would it be a hazard to rider and bike but could cause a fire and risk property damage as well if you cant make a product that can take some abuse dont mix it with flammable liquids. The petcock on most 4 wheelers have a filter screen in them to prevent debris from entering carburator mabe just offer those screens instead of an inline filter where applicable.

slight adjustment of the idle screw and my big bear 400 is running great! I purchased this carburator to replace the last "adorable" carburator I purchased 6 years ago . the motoku carburator runs much smoother more power and great cold starting .motoku also included the elbow for the carburator end of the choke cable , mine was broken and this was a bonus for me. for this price I'm thinking of purchasing another to have on hand !

My 2005 bruin had not run in 7 years. Carb was a good monster. I bought this and it took about 2 hrs to install. My first time doing this work. After some adjustments on the idle screw engine purred like a kitten.

I installed it in a 2005 Bruin 350 4x4 and it started without touching anythingIdles great out of the box, it comes with everything even the choke plunger, you just unscrew the black part and it looks like a screw jet, but it is the choke plunger just use a flat screwdriver to shake it loose and DONT INSTALL IT, USE THE OEM ONE, if not it will bog down when you give it gas. I did have to adjust the Rev limiter on the throttle control on the handle bar 10mm screw and nut because it boggs down on full throttle so I limited it' top rpm, the fuel filter looked a little too small diameter for the fuel hose so I didn't install it as no hose clamps come with it and I didn't want to cut the hose and have it maybe leaking?Very happy with the carb overall and for the price, started up immediately

Kodiak 350 was a straight drop in. Fires right up runs good. After much consideration on the choke I installed it as is no swapping out old choke plunger and it works 100%.Longevity no idea but my Kodiak has never started this good.

Installed this new carb, the quad runs lean and cannot do anything to fix it. Tried cleaning the carb, installing new jets, and every air fuel screw setting.This carb does not work

This carburetor wouldn't operate properly other than at idle. Leaked fuel and wouldn't stop.
