Having your cap hold full pressure helps your car run cooler. My '95 Camry seems to run a few degrees cooler with the new radiator and this cap, as compared to the new radiator with the old cap.It's a convenient feature to be able to safely open a hot radiator if needed.Only do this, of course, if you have the proper experience !And finally, Big red lever looks cool under the hood ! :)

Works as advertised, I like that I can relieve the pressure by lifting the lever although hopefully I will never need it. And, it looks great.

Ok I used this for 3 years. But shouldn't it last longer?Problem was radiator fluid leaking from the top of tank. I did not immediately identify the cap as the problem. But on close examination, the cap fit only loosely on the opening even though the washers looked okay (thin but ok).Anyway, bad cap, stay away.

The lever cap makes it easier to remove the cap from the radiator. Just Twist, Turn and Lock. Its simple. However, I just replaced this cap with a different one as the cap just doesn't hold up. When I took it off the unit completely fell apart. Its not as a good of a deal as I thought it would/should be. I won't be ordering this product again.
