To get the negatives put first---yes, it is not really sturdy. This one comes with a support bracket but I did not install it because I did not want to screw into the floorboard.I work out of my car and I love using this to complete my documentation after home visits in the field. Installation was easy and I use this often. GREAT VALUE!!!

This car computer mount is very cheaply made and extremely difficult to mount. It will “only mount†on the passenger side seat if your car model has a “front†bracket floor mount or it must be drilled into the floor board of your car and secured by bolts fastened underneath your car. Then, this thing has no swivel or up and down adjustment so the angle is tilted to the driver’s side which makes it impossible to comfortably type anything on your laptop.The only practical application is to mount it to the floor between your legs which makes it necessary to fasten to the floor mount between your legs after you are in the seat. To exit your vehicle you must remove your computer and unfasten the stand from the floor mount between your legs. We paid our service station 89.00 to “try†to make this thing work for us and after two days? It’s back in the box and ready to be shipped back to China. There are much better products (I hope) out there? This is cheaply made junk!

I like it overall but it does shake a little on rough roads or as my work car has an out of balance tire.

Very cool but unfortunately not the best for chevy trucks…. It was easy to build and install. Seems sturdy just not enough movement to be comfy in a truck. Longer arms wouldve been better.

Got this to hold not only my laptop but my IPad Pro the assembly was easy it seems sturdy enough it has some wiggle but not from lose parts more like the weight and it being up tall, didn’t drive around with it yet so I’ll give an update after some use. Passages can still sit comfortably. Install in 2014 Nissan NV2500

First picture show the it was cheaply made the screw keeps popping out for the support bar. And second those does not fir for my laptop. So as of right now I spent over $150 to get something that doesn't fit my laptop and is broke to begin with. So I can't even use it
