I got this kit to replace the one that didn't come with the heater (was supposed to).The install was fairly easy but it took me a while to figure out what I was suppose to do with the "spring" and valve. The pictures are not clear and the instructions could have been written better.Perhaps not intended for the layman - but I am smarter than the average bear and guess what? IT WORKS just fine. So I must have done it right but would like to have had a clear understanding.BTW I tried to call the manufacture for tech support and only got voicemail. I don't remember if I left one but never talked to anyone so had to wing it on my own.
