Recommended. Works quite nicely. I tried to make one of these for myself with large pipe and pipe caps - do NOT recommend doing that. The pipe cap simply broke and my homemade gadget was probably dangerous. Instead, I strongly recommend buying one of these. It is tough and a lot safer. Can drive in posts that are tall or short with it.

This driver is easy for me to handle and I am 83 year old woman and I was able to drive in three metal fence posts easily. So don’t be afraid to purchase this. It’s not that heavy but it works.

Much easier (and safer) to use than a sledge hammer plus you don't damage the strike surface. Light enough for lifting overhead but just enough weight to drive the post into the ground. Welded handles and painted surface are well finished. Value priced for the quality - this will last for years.

Had a large raspberry bush the needed support. Pounded 10 posts in 15min then ran wire. Quick and easy to drive posts.Great item.

Managed to get post in much further than with a sledgehammer be aware of the maximum post size
