For the price, this works great! The colors aren’t very vibrant but if you layer it on it looks brighter. Be careful of using the brushes while the tea light candles are lit! The bristles burn quick.

The candles themselves are great. But the wax is way too light and didn’t show at all. We ended up using acrylic paint and it worked way better. Save yourself the money and get the tappers from the dollar store. I will be using the tea lights for my regular candles.

I purchased this kit and a few extra candles for a girls night painting party. The kit was a great price for everything included. I do wish the tea lights had a deeper color but its also just the nature of the activity. You had to use a lot of wax to get it to show up. Quite the learning curve.The paint brushes can burn if you get them too close to the flame so be careful. The tea lights also get very hot. There were enough tea lights to do all the candles included and 10 more big ones!

This was fun. But it is hard to paint using wax. Lol!

The colors in the votives are too light. The wax was impossible to paint on the taper candles. Very disappointed in the whole craft

Colored wax is very faint in color and dries too quickly to paint with.
