I was looking for a basic rest to sight in rifles and pistols. This little rest fits the bill perfectly. It's plastic, so it's light. I was worried that it might be easy to break but so far there's been no problem. It's light, so it's easy to pack along with the rest of the range stuff. It has rubber feet, so it doesn't slip even when a 30-06 is fired off of it. It's tough to fire the little .380's from the rest, but the design of the rest allows you to put a small sandbag or beanbag in the middle and shoot the little guns from there.The rest comes dissasembled, which surprised me a bit, but it was easy to put together. The Amazon price was about five dollars cheaper than what I could get the rest for locally. If you're looking for a light, inexpensive rest to sight in or bench rest guns on, this little rest does the job just fine.

Pretty cheap plastic injected affair. Assembly required. We’ll see how durable it is long term. It came with company logo stickers they apparantly want you to slap on the side of the rest, which I found rather hilarious. The rubber padding where the butt of a handgun can rest is actually a large adhesive sticker. Time will tell if heat or age cause it to come off. Would be better if it snapped in place and was solid. It is quite comfortable and really nice for a handgun. Despite its rather flimsy plastic construction, it is sturdy and the front rest is well designed and keeps a pistol barrel stable and works well with a variety of rifles as a front rest. Adjustment is kind of cludgy but seems sturdy enough once set. Bottom line is this is an inexpensive, surprisingly stable rest but it’s long term durability seems very questionable at best. Probably worth a shot if you don’t want to spend more money on metal rests.

Well I had a really hard time deciding how many stars to give this. I reload all of my own ammo for both .40cal and .223/5.56. Whenever I work up a new load, I like to obviously see which set of loads per grain count is the most accurate. I usually load 5 rounds of each grain count for ladder testing. When it comes to accuracy, there can be a lot of determining factors. The biggest is shooter's error most of the time, whether it be pulling, pushing, slapping the trigger, anticipation, etc. The one thing that can take out almost all of the shooter's error is a good quality bench rest. Once you know which load is the most accurate, you can really crank em out and then it is all on the shooter from a standing position.That is the whole reason I purchased this stand. It did work really well for my Ar-15's. However it did not work well for my Glock 22(full size) or my Sig P226(full size). The recoil would just push the gun way back and even move the stand. There was no way to get a consistent shot group with this happening. Now I don't know about other handguns but I can tell you how it worked with these two. Revolvers might be a different story but I cannot confirm that as I don't own any revolvers.Conclusion: For the price, and if you are only using it for rifle, it is a pretty darn good stand. It is really easy to assemble, and has a good adjustment for the front sights. If you are planning on getting this for a handgun, I suggest you look elsewhere. It did not meet my needs but I will keep it anyways for my rifle.

To be honest I was not expecting a lot from this product given the price point and that it was all plastic. It peaked my intrest enough to buy it. WOW am I happy.I give MTM the KISS award (Keep it simple stupid). This rest is perfect for both rifle and pistol.Simple Elegant engineering. Works Great and I don't have to carry 20 lbs. of stuff to the range when I shoot. I only shoot light rim fire rifle and pistol so I don't know how it would fare with bigger guns.For me it's perfect. The rubberized legs hold the table and the rest does not move around while shooting. It's great for lining up My Henry Rifle and Perfect with my Ruger MK lll Target pistol.While doing the some assembly required part I watched the simple quality in design and workmanship unfold. I must also add I got some extra pride when I looked underneath and saw the made in USA stamp.It's not a compitition rest but for what I do it just works.

I was at the rifle range recently and a fellow gun enthusiast had one of these gun rests which he'd had for many years and he kindly let me try to see how I got on with it and as a result of being sufficiently impressed with it for stability and adjustment when shooting my rested air pistols at 50 metres, I decided to purchase one.I had constructed a fixed wooden rest specifically for the air pistols which fits nicely into my range bag and does a sterling job but its use is limited and I needed something adjustable to accommodate my centrefire and rimfire rifles too and this just fitted the bill.It's lightweight but very sturdy once assembled. Out of the box it only takes a couple of minutes to put together the few parts and I took it yesterday for a first time try out to the range and I was very pleased with it.Adjustments: the platform upon which the gun rests is easy to elevate or lower and can be locked in place once the optimum position is reached.I was shooting at targets at 50 metres with my CP1, CP2 and Diana Chaser pistols fitted with basic red dot sights and it was very stable and I would think it would accommodate most air pistols.As well as using it for pistols, I see no reason not to use it with my rimfire or my Winchester underlever centrefire rifles as it's also designed as a front rifle rest so it's very versatile.There are some excellent gun rests on the market but they can cost an arm and a leg but for everyday range shooting this adjustable rest is more than adequate and I would definitely recommend the product especially give the price.Delivery is also worth mentioning. Well packaged and very fast delivery, what more could you want!

Ottimo rest, nonostante sia di plastica è solido e robusto.Io lo cercavo per testare le mie ricariche del 38 special per scegliere le più precise.Così ho potuto limitare di molto l'errore umano e ridurre drasticamente il diametro delle rosate.E' leggero e comodo da portare al poligono.Prezzo davvero conveniente.Sono molto soddisfatto e lo consiglio.Unico neo: l'appoggio autoadesivo di neoprene per la mano, da incollare sul dorso del rest, tende a scollarsi.

Simple to put together, and other sellers are selling the same thing, but for more money, glue on rubber pad wasn't very sticky, but easy to affix with superglue and a couple of rubber bands til glue dried, my gun is rock solid steady on the rest which will help my marksmanship considerably, next day shipping was brilliant can't wait to use it on the range in the next few days.
