The product did not fit my drill. Error in what I asked for, but the chuck seemed to be what I ordered. I sent it back with no problem for a full return.

This part fits on my DCD771 Type 2, but it is not a direct OEM replacement. The chuck is a bit shorter and smaller overall diameter. The OEM is a Weida 1642. This part is a Weida 2327.My old chuck would just click when trying to turn it either direction, so I had to take a dremel to cut it in half and get it off. New one went on in less than 2 minutes, just thread it on and put the bolt in. Easy peezy.Also it came with a new bolt, even though the description said it didn't.So far it seems to work fine, turns smooth and tightens on the bits just fine. Price is right, much cheaper than a new drill, and I hope it lasts a few years for my light residential use.

very disappointing doesn't hold drill bits at all, will have to look elsewhere.
