Wow, this bowl not only worked it worked great. We had 4 days in a row where the temp never got above +3 degrees during the day and there was always drinkable water in the bowl. Not necessarily warm water but defineitly not frozen water and the various critters that came to all my feeders had water to drink. I can only say positive things about the Heated water bowl and the fine folks I bought it from. so if your thirsty come on over and have a drink with the squirrels and Turkeys and every other critter that shows up

I’ve bought two of these. Had them for a month. So far, so good. They keep drinking water available to our outdoor cats and a friendly neighborhood skunk when the temperature dips. So far, the coldest temperature we’ve had is 18. I don’t think the evaporation is a major problem. We check them every other day and they have never been dry. I think they are a good size for smaller animals.

I bought this product for my backyard feral cats. With temperatures in the teens and twenties in my area, this product has held up well. True to claim, the water has never frozen. It’s always warm and my cats have no problem drinking from it. I am very pleased with my purchase.

One works few days only. But the second one works great. Use it in my chicken coop as outside is so cold and keep warm the water for my chicken.

Even though you have 2.2 liters of water, you'll still need to refill daily. In cold weather the water steams (like a river in winter) and loses much of it's volume in 24 hours.Seems well constructed and definitely keeps the water warm

This is an awesome bowl ! We had several nights of 11 to 14 degrees and it also snowed …. Some days never got out of freezing and this bowl never ever had ice in it ! It holds alot of water and so easy to clean .. I recommend this to everyone that may be looking for one ..you think it’s too expensive? No , it is not . You pay for quality and that is exactly what this is … go get one …. You will be happy like we are ! And by the way , our Labrador has a very nice dog house that is also heated . She stays in our house at night and during the day , she is ready to go outside .. and when she does , her water bowl is not frozen and has no ice at all in it .

I purchased this bowl last December as I have five feral cats living under my deck. Going into the colder weather, their water bowl began freezing on a daily basis. I started looking for heated bowls and came across this one. It hasn't disappointed. No matter how cold it's gotten, it still keeps the water in liquid form. And it's in a hutch I built for the cats to eat in out of the elements. Here's three of them and they're doing just fine. Thanks for the great product!

Sturdy bowl, the cord has a plastic covering for safety and it's quite long. It's easy to clean, I just wipe it out with my hand while the waters in there, swirl it around, dump and add the fresh water. The water would stay a lot cleaner if Sonny would quit washing his feet in the bowl LOL. The fat old skunk drinks out of it too LOL The on off switch is cat proof and glows so you know it's on. Sonny keeps standing on it and hasn't managed to turn it off yet. The bowl is just warm enough to keep the water from freezing and the cats don't mind it at all. Would I buy this product again ? Absolutely ! very happy with my purchase.

It seems to have a good chew resistant power cord and waterproof face.The water temperature is a bit too high at about 16.2 degC or 61 degF which causes a bit fast evaporation. But I would buy again.
