Installation and Operating:
Preparation
The assembly of all calibration shall meet the maximum flow requirement.
Please clean the port and fitting before installation, it will effectively avoid bring dust to the air path.
Pay attention to direction of air flow and arrow pointing on product body if correct, minding port and thread size if match.
Pressure Adjustment
Pull up the knob of pressure gauge, rotate:
If you do clockwise rotation, pressure will rise steadily.Pressure will down when you rotate counterclockwise.
Stop turning after reaching the required index and lock down the knob,forget this step you may face leakage problem.
Dial Reading
Make sure that the pressure gauge is tightly installed on the main body, and pay attention to whether the reading rises and falls smoothly while adjusting pressure.

I purchased to of these to regulate the blow off air from my compressor tank drain and air dryer tank. Very nice quality and came with a few fittings. Plan to purchase a couple more of these.

Just installed my new regulator and it appears to be performing well. My only negative comment relates to the pressure gauge that shipped with the unit. The nipple on the back of the gauge is so short that it makes sealing up a real chore. If wrapped with normal amount of Teflon tape, the gauge will "bottom out"; i.e. the gauge housing hits the regulator body before getting tight. If the gauge nipple is wrapped with many, many turns of tape it just might seal (if you are lucky). Wondering if I got the right gauge. I have seen no other complaints related to this issue.

I was afraid for a brief moment as I lined up the parts to replace the cracked regulator on my compressor that I had once again ordered the wrong part, because when oriented correctly (knob forward, gauge up) the airflow was backwards! I went back to the website and could see no distinct part for L->R versus R->L so I figured there must be a way to make it work. Just remove the four screws holding the knob-plate on, flip it around, and rescrew. I was then suddenly worried that the gauge would be pointed down, but noticed a fully-tapped hole with a sealed plug in the right spot - I broke that free, and re-installed the plug on the opposite side and it worked perfectly in the new right-to-left airflow orientation.

No bueno. Hooked unit up to 100psi and nearly went deaf. Invest in a better one.

Good product except adjustment knob should be more solid as regulator is being used on a piston compressor and will rattle itself to pieces. Secondly fittings should be more available NPT not what ever ports are on regulator.

1/2" air regulator. Item shipped wasn't new. It was in a box that was completely taped up and crumpled, multiple shipping labels and a "Used-very good" sticker on it. Regulator was clearly not new, however it had no witness marks that it was ever installed. The teflon tape wasn't included as shown in picture. The 2 nipples aren't brass, they are gold anodized aluminum. The tap used to thread the inlet didn't taper to the end of the threads,(fittings would bottom out/hit the end of the thread and stop dead) I had to rethread the inlet to get a leak free seal. Seems to be working well as a regulator and has way more flow than the 1/4" regulator that came with my compressor.

The part came quickly and worked well. However it did not come with the 2 adapters or tape which I needed for the installation so I had to go buy them from the store. Not the end of the world but I specifically purchased this product over others because it was supposed to have everything I needed.
