It uses a high-precision Pirani Vacuum Sensor for precise measurements and is easy to use with a large backlit display. Nothing fancy about it, it's a vacuum guage easy to operate and plus it comes with all the accessories such as coupler and a tee and as a for the price point the case is very soft and good and I really like the case it does have some function I do like as well such as the alaram function on it so for the price point it's a very good vacuum gauge.

Seemed to have worked well in the beginning but it failed a couple days ago in the middle of an install. The gauge bounces between 200 and 2500 microns and will not stabilize. I’ve cleaned the sensor as per the instructions to no avail.Haven’t been able to get any help from Amazon. Ordered a different brand at my expense.

It only displays this reading in all corresponding units - microns, Pa, mBar, mmHg. I have tried all sorts of stuff to get this to work and have not been able to use this since I got it. I should have just sent it back. Now I'm dealing directly with NAVAC to see if they'll correct this. Can't even get this on Amazon anymore. Hmm. I've heard they're good units. Just not mine.

They leak. With this unit isolated from anything, it will recover 100+ microns a second and continue until it's out of range.I RMA'd and they sent one out the next day. The replacement leaks almost as fast.Moving on to another brand.
