Been using couple weeks now and no signs of failure. Time will tell. Easy to cut to size. Seems like a good product for my quadrafire wood stove. Price was good as well.

I ordered this for one in a blacksmith forge. It was the right thickness and size for the forge and works well at keeping the heat in. This is a good quality product and great value for the money.

The produce was a little stiff and dense, which made it easy to cut and mold into place. After being installed in a homemade forge and rigidized, it held firm and stood up to the burner.

I use it as a noise baffle in the furnace cabinet, but since there's a warning on the insert, I keep it folded in original package to avoid particulate matter releasing to the air. Folded, it's about 6+ inches thick, filling a large hollow gap in the cabinet. This is not how I envisioned using it, but it's a decent start to achieving noise reduction. If I decide I need to wrap up my pipes or venting, I will buy something completely different.

I had purchased a pizza oven, but it only had a single layer of steel for the lid. It worked, but took forever to heat up and actually cook the pizza. Enter a custom inner layer of steel and this insulation! It helped to drastically reduce the time to heat up and cook! The material is extremely easy to work with - just cut with scissors or shears. Customize to any shape you need. Great value given the two sheets included. And, with the insulation in place, I can actually touch the outer steel shell of the oven while the inside is at 650 degrees, making it safer to work around.

This is a nice, thick insulation and was easy to cut to size. I used it to stuff around a pipe that goes through the ceiling and then used a fire retardent tape product to seal it up.
