The padded non-stretch neck pad uses high-tech antimicrobial memory foam to cushion your neck and shoulders, eliminating uncomfortable pressure points. The memory foam envelops buttons or clasps preventing them from being pressed into your neck. Also by conforming to the curve of your neck and shoulders, the memory foam distributes the instrument's weight over a larger surface area. Relieves the weight of a bass clarinet on my 12yo's back and neck. He says it's MUCH more comfortable than the included strap from the Music store/rental. If it keeps him practicing longer (and without pain!!) it's absolutely worth it. Great value, so glad I got this for him.

It is comfy and seems durable. But i can’t use it! It isn’t long enough for my tenor sax. Oh well. Bummer.
