If you are looking to order small signal transistors on Amazon, you already know what they’re for, you most likely know how to use them, and you already appreciate the advantage of maintaining a small assortment as stock in your home-lab.Brought to you from another of Amazon’s vowel-less vendors, QDLYKHS, is an assortment of 17 varieties of plastic-cased silicon transistors: BC327-25, BC327-40, BC337-25, BC337-40, BC338-25, BC517, BC546, BC547, BC548 ,BC549, BC550, BC556, BC557, BC558, BC559, BC639, and BC640–170 pieces in total. They are claimed to be brand-new and 100% prime parts.I would not rely on a parts source like this for medical, aerospace, or any other application where loss-of-life is a possibility. For your run-of-the-mill science, ham-radio, Arduino, robot, or electronic music projects, they’re ideal.Oh... and stunning responsiveness by the seller, by the way. I ordered these one day, they arrived the next.

The set contains exactly the advertised number of transistors, of the specified type. I don’t know why the description states” Random send the part number”, doesn’t seem to be anything random. I tested about 50 across all types in the set and I could not find any defective one. If needing to find matching pairs out of these, having 10 of each stands a good chance of finding such pairs, though I may go for a second set in hope of increasing the chances.These come packaged in small zippered bags that are labeled with manual writing with a sharpie or such. Workable, not ideal, but I guess this makes for the low price.
